THANK YOU, SUNNY!
Congratulations to the well-deserved recipient and winner of A Peaceful Way Home Care’ Outstanding Caregiver Award for quarter four 2020, Sunny Kosmata! Join us in thanking Sunny for an amazing job well done.
Sunny was recognized for consistently going above and beyond for her clients – both ongoing as well as for fill-ins. Her clients say she is always a pleasure to have in the home and feel fortunate to be in her care.
Because of her positive demeanor and energetic, charming and professional manner, clients ask for her. She had some tough cases, but remained reliable, kind, compassionate, patient and helpful. A Peaceful Way Home Care is blessed to have Sunny as part of our caregiving family. We are proud to name her the Q4 Outstanding Care recipient and present her with the $500 award and her personalized scrubs.
Thank you again, Sunny, for your excellent service.

SUNNY’S VOCATION
How prophetic was the Long Beach City College instructor when she shared with the nursing program class that some of the students may find that nursing is not a good fit from them, and that they may find another career more enjoyable. Sunny earned both her Certified Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomist accreditations, but she did indeed find her vocational calling in caregiving.
Named apropos for her disposition, Sunny takes joy in providing her clients with loving care. “My clients are very nice people. It makes me feel good to help them,” she says. “I enjoy their companionship.” And Sunny’s clients love her.
After several years of caregiving experience, Sunny began working with A Peaceful Way Home Care in 2018. She provides whatever in-home care services her senior clients in Palos Verdes and Torrance need to improve the quality of their lives. She helps them do things they are no longer able to by themselves readily. This ranges from assisting them while walking, driving, helping them dress and shower, providing medication reminders, accompanying to doctor appointments, transferring to bed or car, encouraging exercise, and more.
Currently, Sunny works full time, with a split shift between two families in the South Bay. In this stay-at-home environment, Sunny is also utilizing skills that she was trained in while still living in China – she has cut her clients’ hair!
SUNNY’S AVOCATION
Empty nesters in Carson, this month Sunny celebrates sixteen years of marriage with her husband Doyle. Together, their blended family has four children – the two youngest attending California State University, Long Beach.
Sunny and Doyle love ballroom dancing, especially the waltz. They belong to two dancing clubs, but the living room has provided their most frequent dance floor during the last year. Sunny also enjoys exercising in the morning, reading the Bible, and attending church.

SUNNY’S REACTION
When Sunny learned she was named the Q4 Outstanding Care awardee, she was so excited. “Oh my gosh! I was so happy! I read the announcement in our email – this time it was me!
“I am so lucky and grateful to have received this award. We have so many great caregivers and great people working in the office. They all deserve it. We all work together to provide the best care to all our clients. Thank you, team. I am sincerely humbled to have been chosen to receive this award. Thank you, all,” said Sunny.
